The Soap and Glory Hand food.

Hello everyone, 

Here is another great Soap and Glory product designed to get rid of those dry hands in the cold weather. 

The packaging is beautiful with the classic pink colour and has all the ingredients on the back. This product is 125 Ml but you can also get a travel sized version if you don't want to go out and get the full size or you want one to fit in coat pockets or a handbag 

Pocket.  

This product costs around £5.50 For this full size tube. It has lasted me a long time as you only need a very tiny amount. It has a very classic Soap and Glory luxurious perfumed smell to it that lasts a long time on the hands. This is a very feminine and good quality 

Product. 

I get very dry hands when the cold weather gets to them. But I apply this thick hand cream to the dry areas and within minutes of it drying they are practically back to normal it works incredibly quick and very well!. 

It has a very sort texture but the sent may irritate sensitive skin so I would be careful but for me it has been absolutely great and perfect for the cold weather. I will be repurchasing this when it eventually runs out.

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter.

Good Morning everyone !, 

This is another fantastic Soap and Glory product, it's a very thick body butter for rubbing on to damp or dry skin. It contains Shea Butter and Aloe vera both very natural.

The packaging is another Soap and Glory classic, black and white vintage pictures with clever slogans with all the ingredients and how to use on the back. It is a plastic tub with a screw top so you can keep it in the shower without worrying about water going in to the tub. It contains 300ML of product and lasts ages! The smell is a very strong pretty perfume smell very feminine and luxurious. 

The product leaves your skin very shiny and extremely soft, the thick texture is perfect for putting on damp or dry skin but particularly good to put on legs after shaving to leave a soft and moisturised shiny finish.  The sent lasts ages on the skin right through to the next day. 

This product costs around £10 But again worth the price as it lasts a very very long time and has a very luxurious smell and good quality product inside. If you want to try the product but don't want to go out and buy this big tub you can get a travel size pot version that is the exact same just much much smaller. 

I find this product goes very well with the Soap and Glory flake away body polish as that removes the dead skin and this moisturises the skin after.

Flake Away Body Polish

 Hey everyone :), 

So this is a product Soap and Glory have had out for a while now and I have repurchased a few times. 

It's a body polish that removes dry or flaky skin and leaves a soft finish. The packaging is a classic Soap and Glory look with the black and white classic vintage pictures and clever slogans. The pot contains 24M and is plastic with a screw top so it's suitable to leave in the shower without waiter getting inside it. 

It contains Shea butter, sugar and peach seed powder giving the product a very sweet perfumed sent that smells incredibly good!.

I found this product very thorough compared to other products I have tried similar to this, I think the thick texture really helps smooth the skin after. However if you have sensitive skin or prone to irritation from perfumed products I would be very careful as the sent is very strong and the beads are quite rough if you have sensitive skin, personally it works great for me and hasn't irritated my skin at all. 

It contains a soft formula with little beads inside that you massage in to the skin and they remove the dead skin leaving a soft and sweet scented finish. 

The pot as I said contains 24M so it lasts a very long time and costs around £10. 

I love this product not only for what it does but the packaging and the sent really makes the product for me and I will continue to keep repurchasing:)!.

The Body Shop vitamin C Microdermabrasion

Happy Tuesday everyone!, 

So this is The Body Shop Vitamine C microdermabrasion treatment. This is a product I was a bit sceptical to try, only because I'm not a big fan of changing my skincare products and also it was quite expensive.

They also did products in this range to target things such as the eye area, adding glow back to the skin, moisturisers and face washers.

However I had read up about the Vitamine C benefits not on the Body shop website and it was very positive all round such as good for scaring or to add more colour or life to the skin. 

There was quite a few products in the range and most of them actually where very highly rated and classed as star buys or popular buys in other words. 

The engredidnce also had Shea butter that The Body Shop tend to have a lot of in their ranges and is very moisturising. 

The packaging is very bright and orange ... It clearly states the genitive of the product and looks like a good quality product. 

It's a 75 Ml tube .. This hasty forever !!! You only use a tiny amount because it is quite powerful therefore straight away I felt that justified the price.

So I just applied water to my face and drubbed some of the product in and used it in circular motions round the face, I have to say it was at first a bit harsh ? It has little beads inside like an ordinary face wash except I realised you need to use it very gentely and always use water !! I tried putting the product on first without water and that wasn't good .. It does leave the face a bit red afterwards as expected with a microsermogration treatment, however the results where actually really good!.. As it said on the tube it did leave my face very smooth and fresh, a nice sent and did feel like a good treatment. 

It recommends to use the product only once or time a week and I understand this because it would be a bit too harsh for a every day use but is a great product to use once a week just to fully revive the skin. 

So overall after working out how best to use the product after a couple of rubbish attempts I actually like to do this once a week and actually would repurchase, I also got my Mum to try it to see what she thinks.. She never likes using products on her face unless she is happy with the ingredients, she gave it a try and came back and told me how pleased she was with the product!. 

I would quite happily go and try their other Vitamine C products and do feel the price you pay is worth it was they last a lot lot longer than you think.

Imperial Leather Marshmallow and Peaches

Today I wanted to share with you this lovely range of shower products from Imperial leather. They have an absolutely massive selection but here are two different types I tried for shower and bath to test both sides.

Marshmallow Shower Cream.
The shower cream is Marshmallow scented!!... Now once I saw this I had to try it!. I was drawn to the pretty packaging and the idea of smelling of delicious sweet marshmallows. The cream is a slight pink colour and the sent was incredibly good! I will be repurchasing this! I absolutely loved it. I thought it was going to slightly smell of marshmallows but honestly the smell is obvious and a great one to try if you have a sweet tooth like me !. This was a shower cream so I put it on my legs before shaving and used it as a shower gel and it was very soft and left me nice and shiny. It worked beautifully I could still smell marshmallow hours later. They also had a fruit salad sweet version that was yellow that I will have to try!. Thus bottle was a 250 Ml so not too big but a little went a long way.

Paradise Island Bath Cream.
The second product I tried was a bath product. Again I love sweet smells so the peaches and vanilla really did the trick. It created lots of bubbles and left my body nice and shiny. The sent lasted well and a little went a long way. Again a pretty packet and a beautiful gold go loured gel inside. Made the bath lovely and relaxing and left my bathroom smelling fruity all day!. This has left me wanting to try more of the range .  This was a big bottle, but again lasted a good few bath sessions.

White Musk range The Body Shop

Hello everyone!, it's Alice ..


So last year in 2015 I went in to The body Shop and was checking out their products. I came across their fragrance range and had only heard good things about them .. "Beautiful luxury smells" "they last ages" perfect to pop in my bag or car" " used them for years really good prices"... So I had to give it a go myself of course.

So I waited till the Christmas sales in 2015 and purchased the white musk Libertine range because it looked pretty and something I'd like to have on display in my room. Now they had a few choices so I decided to try the body mist and the Eau De Parfum.. They also had another called Eau De Toilette .. This was the pink coloured range there was a few to chose from.



The White Musk Libertine Mist.  -£7.50
This was the tall bottle in the photo above .. It's a beautiful bottle with pink tint to it and a silver top. It has a push down squirting application and it was 100ml. I have to say the elegant design pulled me in because I absolutely love the colours and design and how feminine it looks on my dressing table.
The sent was a very pretty girly sent with a lovely floral and musk sent. I would say its a very independent smell .. Strong and smells like a good quality product.
I used it first on my clothes just a few sprits.. It was still there at the end of the day when I smelt my jumper so that's a plus. I then used it on a few other things such as .. To freshen the smell of my handbag .. To make my car smell nice .. Inside my clothes draws lightly .. And I have to say it's definitely worth the money .. The 100ml is going a really really long way!. Absolutely beautiful product.


The White Musk Libertine Eau De Parfum -£7.00

so this again same sent but much stronger .. I guess for a full on perfume it's meant to be stronger and last a lot longer than a mist spray. It was a 30ml bottle .. Again beautiful design a glass effect stopper top .. A push down spray application and a pink finish. This obviously was smaller than the body mist bottle so this I put in my work bag, my car door, my makeup bag, pockets anywhere because it's a nice small size. It's very strong of course compared to the mist as expected but the same floral and musk sent.. This I used on my neck and again it lasted most of the day!. If you wanted to you could top it up in the afternoon or even just touch up with some body mist instead. A very elegant strong smell. Again beautiful form the design to the smell ! Absolutely love it. Would make a beautiful gift too!.


So so they also did a shower product and a lotion and a lip balm in this same range that are other alternatives.
